SS7 stack: narrowband, broadband and NGN networks
Netbricks SS7 stack called SS7-BRICKS is a portable software
package implementing the Network Service Part of Signaling
System #7 (SS #7, SS7 or C7) for Narrow and Broadband networks as welle as Next Generation IP networks.
Our SS7 stack is fully compliant with following standards :
MTP Message Transfer Part |
| |
MTP Narrow band : ITU-T Q.701, Q.702, Q.703, G.704,
G.707 and ANSI publications T1.111 and China SS7 |
| |
MTPb Broadband : ITU G.704, Q.2110, Q.2140, Q.2144 |
SCCP Signaling Connection Control Part ITU-T Q.711, Q.712, Q.713, Q.714, Q.715, Q.716 and ANSI publications T1.112 |
TCAP Transaction capabilities ITU Q,771, Q772, Q773 and Q774 and ANSI publications T1.114 |
ISUP Call Control : ITU Q.761, Q.762, Q.763 and Q.764. |
SS7-BRICKS and SIGTRAN-BRICKS enables
seamless convergence
and inter-working of PSTN and IP protocols thanks to M2UA, M2PA, M3UA and SUA User Adaptation layers. High availability multi-processor configuration are supported using SS7 built-in redundancy management.
SS7-BRICKS is dedicated for the following equipment :
Service Switching Point (SSP), Class 4 and
Class 5 switch |
Signaling Point (SP) |
Signalling Transfer Point (STP) |
Advanced Intelligent Network (AIN) / Service
Control Point (SCP) |
Signaling Gateway (SG) |
Media Gateway (MG) and Media Gateway Controller
(MGC) |
GSM Core Network (CN) |
UMTS Terrestrial Radio Access Network (UTRAN)
and UMTS Core Network (CN) |
SS7-BRICKS is based on NETBRICKS architecture using object oriented design and on a message passing mechanism for inter-entity communication.
Interfaces to most of commercial OS and RTOS are provided : Windows NT/2000/XP, Linux RedHat, Embedded Linux (Monta Vista), Solaris (32/64bits), OSE, VxWorks, AMX, Nucleus, PSOS+, RTC, VRTX, ...See list of supported platforms.
