3G-324M stack for Mobile Networks
Netbricks 3G-324M stack called 3G-324M-BRICKS is a portable source code implementation of the multimedia H.324 protocol suite as laid down by the ITU, 3GPP and 3GPP2.
ITU-T H.324 recommendation was initially issued to specify a suite of standards in order to share video, voice and data simultaneously over modem connections on PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network). It defines control protocol (H.245) and multiplexing mechanisms (H.223) as well as audio and video CODECs to be used for real time multi media streaming over an established switched circuit connection.
3G-324M has been derived from H.324 standards by 3GPP and 3GPP2 standardization bodies to specify multi-media communication in mobile switched circuit environments. 3G-324M set of protocols is well suited for delay sensitive applications like video phone, video conferencing, TV broadcasting, video on demand. Such applications could not be satisfactorily operated using currently deployed mobile packet technology due to packet transmission overhead, too high BER and variable transit delay.
Our 3G-324M stack includes the following key features:
- 3G Handset
- Streaming Video Server
- UMTS gateway
- Softswitch
- 3G Surveillance Camera
 |
- Multi Media Control Manager controls H.245 sessions and coordinates the protocol layers with the User Application. Automatic Call Setup mode available. |
| - Low footprint and Fast Call Setup time with supports for WNSRP & MONA. |
| - Portable architecture supporting many handset OS including Linux, Windows Mobile, Nucleus.... |
- Stack splitting capability between H.223 and upper layers. |
|
- H324M Transmission interface for 3G, ISDN or IP interfaces in order to operate signaling and media IOT using automated scripts. |
|
Our 3G-324M stack is compliant with the following standards:
