Netbricks partners with Prescom to develop board business

For several years Netbricks has been operating two different types of business in parallel.

First and that is its historical activity, Netbricks has become a leader on the telecommunication core technology market thanks to its extensive and high quality range of telecommunication software products that are mainly marketed under the form of source code license.

In addition, Netbricks has developed a second kind of activity, communication boards, enabling customers to accelerate products development and to focus on their own added value. Now Netbricks has become for many customers a key supplier of telecommunication modules especially for ISDN connectivity.

In order to accelerate the growth of this second business, Netbricks has decided to separate these two activities and from the 1st of October 2004, they are now operated in two different companies. Netbricks keeps on operating the core technology business and a different company named Sectrad operates the board activity.

Sectrad is affiliated to both Netbricks and Prescom, a leading supplier of telecommunication systems and solutions that decided to partner with Netbricks and that will bring to Sectrad a high level of experience in the design, manufacturing and support of communication hardware products.

The board engineering team from Netbricks is fully working in Sectrad and customers will continue having these skilled engineers to support and assist them.

This new organization has been settled in order to be closer to customer's requirements and to increase the industrial capability required to satisfy today's market. Both companies' management teams will ensure that there will be no disruption in the supply and service to Customers.
